Reminders Oct. 26, 2018.

We made it through the week!!!! This has been a busy week with several assignments due today. Most students were able to get everything completed and submitted. I would like to remind those that did not, that balancing school and life is challenging, but school should always come first! Leaving assignments to the last minute is not a good strategy!

Congratulations to Nate for winning this months Respect award and to Kassidy for winning the Responsibility award from September!

Next week will be a fun and busy week. Permission forms will be coming home on Monday for a VERY last minute trip on Tuesday to Westmount Collegiate Inst. The grade 12 students at Westmount create an Anne Frank Museum open to students and public on certain days. We have been given an opportunity to visit the school and the museum on Tuesday Oct. 30 from 12:45-2:00. This trip links directly with the novel that we just finished reading "Number the Stars" as well as our presentation that will be apart of the Remembrance Day Assembly. Due to the busing, the cost of the trip will be $15.00 per student. Please look for the form on Monday and return it on Tuesday!
We will also be having a pumpkin carving contest on Tuesday, pumpkins will be supplied for groups of students and displayed at the Dance-a-thon on Wednesday.
Wednesday is the Dance-a-thon, please feel free to wear your costume for the dance.

Have a great weekend, try to get outside and play!
